$6.1 million CIMB classic won by Nick Watney

Nick Watney just got his name on quite a few lists. Whether it is the list of amazing golfers who have overcome Tiger Woods on the field or pull in over a million in earnings.

These days you have to be very resourceful to make sure that you get the win, it has always been that way but we are always seeing unique ways that it comes out. In this particular event there was a lot of heat and humidity which can take a tole on any player. Watney has the support of his Wife to help carry his bag on the last hole along with the help of other local caddies to help throughout the game. It is very close to a record low seeing as some of the best games have ended at 59.

As a rising star in the Golf world, Watney has been making moves and even won the “FedEx Cup opener at Bethpage Black in August for his fifth official PGA Tour title”.  Any PGA event puts you up against serious competition and being able to set records further seals your fate into golf history. With 358 yard first holes, you can really see that these players have some serious playing to do if they are to come up strong and beat out the other industry titans like Woods.
