Fantasy Nascar, What Its All About
Fantasy sports have taking on a whole new life of their own over the last few years. Fantasy football has always been a cult of its own, but lately fantasy Nascar has just grown in the number of people joining. Nascar is already one of the biggest sports in America and when you had the fact that you can pick a driver and compete against your friends, it adds a whole new level of excitement.
When you start out with 43 different drivers to choose from, you are always taking a shot in the dark on who is going to win. You have to deal with wrecks, engines blowing up, flat tires, weather, and more that play a pivotal role in determining the final outcome of the race.
There are many places where you can play fantasy Nascar and each one has its certain rules and regulations that you have to follow. Most of them have it where you pick up to 8 drivers and compete in groups of 4 or more. Each of your drivers score points based on how well they do during the race, but then again who is to say they will even finish the race. Each Nascar fantasy setup will also dish out different prizes from cash to race gear and even just for the pure joy of beating other people in something fun.
The great thing about fantasy Nascar is that there is a variety of tracks that the drivers must tackle. One driver might be good at a short track but suck on a super speedway or road course. Then you will have another driver who is the exact opposite who sucks on the short tracks, but dominates on the super speedways. Each driver has his or her own background where they learned how to drive a car and race, but each driver brings that uniqueness to the track every Saturday or Sunday.
Nascar is fun to watch if you’re a true fan or even if you want something different to get into, but for the new fans that are just getting into it, playing fantasy for a season will bring a whole new level of excitement to it that you can only get from seeing a race live. Since the season just started this year, I recommend signing up for a fantasy team and get started playing this year. It is something that you will enjoy doing and make you even more of a die hard fan.
