After winning the NBA Championship for the second consecutive year, the Miami Heat team decided to party the night away at Story Nightclub. The players, which included Dwayne Wade, LeBron James, Mario Chalmers, and other, ordered over 100 bottles of champagne and even had pizza delivered to the club for them. And they didn’t pay for a thing.
David Grutman, the owner of Story Nightclub, where the likes of Drakes, Lebron, Wade, and most of the other players partied after winning the crucial Game 7 Thursday night, and LIV, where the Heat team celebrated their NBA championship last year, said the players ordered 100 bottles of Dom Perignon and three 3-liter bottles of champagne. According to Grutman, Story Nightclub sells the standard 750-milliliter bottles of Dom Perignon for $850 each and the club sells 3-liter bottles, called Jeroboams, for $5,000.
“I’m not going to charge the Heat,” Grutman said. South Beach restaurant Prime 112 was also in the giving mood and had food delivered straight to the nightclub for the players to enjoy.
