Barcelona Looking Like Its Old Self Again

Barcelona is starting to look like its old self again. At the beginning of the season, no one would have bet on this Barça side being one of the most dominant clubs in Europe. But after just five matches, the story has completely changed. Whatever Hansi Flick did, it’s working—this new Barcelona is smashing goals past opponents in every single match.

Flick’s arrival at Barcelona came after a tough goodbye to the German national team, following a bitter defeat to Spain. Deciding that his next best move would be at Barcelona was the right choice. Under Xavi, Barça managed to secure some silverware, but they didn’t quite look strong enough to compete for the Champions League.

However, under Flick, this seems to be changing. The team looks more organized, and the players are showing a lot of individual brilliance.

One of the biggest stars shining under Flick is the 16-year-old Lamine Yamal, who recently scored a brace in a match, proving he’s on track to become the next Messi if he continues to improve. Yamal’s rise to stardom has been one of the most exciting stories for Barcelona fans this season.

Another player who has started to thrive under Flick is Raphinha. The Brazilian winger is showcasing his flair, dazzling fans with his skills, and contributing to the team’s overall success with each game.

Although Barcelona lost their last match against AS Monaco, it’s worth noting that they were a man down.

The new pressing style under Flick requires a lot of energy, and being down a player made it harder to execute that strategy effectively. But aside from that recent stumble, Barça looks like they’re on the right path.

Players like Pedri, Yamal, and Dani Olmo are all thriving, and the team’s future looks brighter than ever.

If they continue on this path, Barcelona could once again become the dominant force they used to be in European football. The Blaugrana faithful have a lot to be excited about as the season unfolds.
